the MTM Clinical Call Center, in a patient focused call center setting
conducting comprehensive an! d targeted medication reviews, to ensure effective and efficient workflow and quality results.
Responsibilities
Work within a team environment assisting pharmacist(s) in providing
patients and healthcare providers with clinically relevant information that can be a cost savings and improve patient's overall healthcare.
Entering feedback received from pharmacies or physician offices indicating intervention outcome and patient specific information.
Interact with patient’s primary care physicians and other healthcare providers regarding medication.
Coordinate outbound faxing and subsequent follow-up patient calls.
Research provider and patient contact information to communicate medication reviews and recommendations.
Communicate with network pharmacies to provide members local MTM services.
Provide outstanding customer service to all inbound/outbound calls.
Understand compliance measures for CMS mandated programs (e.g., MTM, L! evel 3 RetroDUR, etc.).
Understand the basic program offer! rings for clinical programs serviced (e.g., MTM, RetroDUR, Adherence, STARs, etc.).
Performs auxiliary functions essential to the efficient operation of the department.
Actively participate in various department meetings and forums to improve programs, enhance processes, and share workflow information.
Provide support and User Acceptance Testing for projects that center in operations workflow.
Assist in developing and maintaining policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and at least (1) year experience in pharmacy and/or related PBM business Or High School Diploma/GED and 3+ years’ experience in pharmacy and/or related PBM business
Current certified pharmacy technician licensure
Must have strong customer service, communication, computer, and data entry skills
Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audience
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word (inserting headers, page brea! ks, page numbers and tables and/or adjusting columns).
Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Excel (setting borders, setting columns with, inserting charts, using text wrap, sorting).
