Responsible for providing expertise in support of the AIM Specialty Health Specialty Pharmacy and Oncology solutions. Primary duties include participating as a member of the SRx team that translates medical policy into algorithms for use in benefit determination. Participate in the development and deployment of AIM Oncology Solution. Serves as a clinical resource to other business areas.
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as a key contributor , including but not limited to, AIM SRx and Oncology Solutions
Monitor environment regarding potential changes in medications under management
Assist the Associate Medical Director of O! ncology in operationalizing changes to Medical Policy and Cove! rage for Specialty Drugs
Serve as a subject matter expert to support the oncology solution team
Assist with the development of project plans and communicating project status
Drive the development and implementation of AIMs clinical scripts in alignment with AIMs organizational goals
Serve as primary business user for admin tool(s) that support content management, prioritizing enhancements to align with AIMs goals
Serve as a member of multidisciplinary teams involved in quality improvement initiatives as directed
Collaborate to monitor and maintain clinical accuracy and appropriateness for cross- client and cross-product consistency
Understand and support efforts to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards
Ensure successful content delivery and timely issue resolution
Monitor and analyze script performance reports in support of Clinical activities and initiatives
Job Qualificatio! ns
The successful candidate will have:
A current valid state license to practice pharmacy as an RPh
PharmD, preferred
Minimum of 3 years related experience in specialty pharmacy management
Previous experience with oncology and chemotherapy agents
Previous experience in high-volume managed care operations (claims, customer service, enrollment and billing) desirable
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Participated in cross-functional teams
Strong knowledge of UM systems performance and production activities
Good written, oral, listening and interpersonal communication skills required
Be self-directed, highly motivated
Ability to relate well across all levels within the organization
