Description: Adventist La Grange Memorial Hospital is at present recruited PHARMACY TECH, Casual hours, days/eve/weekends right now, this position will be assigned in Illinois. More details about this position opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Performs pharmaceutical distributive functions to assist in the caring for patients in a professional manner. Assists in the training ! of new employees. May assist in the selection of technical staff. Assists pharmacists in the preparation of medications by performing routine and technical aspects of prescription processing.
Serves as an assistant to the pharmacist in all mechanical phases of hospital pharmacy operations. Works under pharmacist s supervision. Fills/refills Automatic Dispensing Machine/ADM (Pyxis) as necessary. Checks medications for outdates as assigned.
Position carries responsibility for other members of the healthcare team. This individual will often coordinate his/her work to meet the ever-changing needs of the department/hospital. He/she has the expressed authority to carry out the duties as defined in the job description.
