Responsible for providing overall direction and guidance to the operational and business development activities for the Specialty Pharmacy Field Operations with t! he objective of maximizing growth and profitability, maintaining and improving service and quality levels, as well as day-to-day leadership and management of the Specialty Pharmacies.

Responsibilities
Manages organization by directing and coordinating activities consistent with established goals, objectives, and policies.
Implements programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit.
Implements improved processes and management methods to generate higher ROI and workflow optimization.
Develop and create strategies and policies aligned with organizational goals.
Provide mentoring and guidance to subo! rdinates and other employees.
Supervises Specialty Pharmac! y Field Operations. Responsible for subordinate employees’ performance reviews.
Responsible for overall management to achieve customer satisfaction.
Must interpret policies, purposes, and goals of the organization for subordinates.
Manage and coordinate programs/projects to accomplish goals across the organization from inception to implementation
Manage budgets and coordinate resources with senior management
Prepare presentations and communications to support review and discussion with senior management
Create and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization
Acutely aware of external developments in the industry
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (including Core Competencies)
Strong leadership ability with superior communication (both verbal and written) skills
Ability to influence cross functionally
Demonstrates sound judgment and decision making skills.
Demonstrates ! a thorough knowledge of rules, regulations, policies and laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy
Responsible for oversight of clinical decisions related to the pharmacy and offered programs
Collaborates and consults with other practitioners in the specialty pharmacy industry at regular intervals i.e., conferences, seminar attendance
Responsible for clinical oversight of specialty pharmacy clinicians to ensure qualified clinicians are accountable to the organization for decisions affecting consumers
Travel commitment of 60-80% of work time
Education and Experience
BS or PharmD in Pharmacy
Pharmacist Licensure as required by Board of Pharmacy in state of practice in good standing; other state Pharmacist Licensure if necessary
Five or more years management experience, including multi-site management experience
Two or more years post-graduate experience in direct patient care
