Job Summary
Responsible for requirements gathering using a variety of techniques. Analyzes, classifies and documents business requirements, and identifies and clarifies functional requirements using conceptual and logical processes. Works collaboratively with business owners to gather requirements and works collaboratively with development, QA, and production support staff to ensure business and functional requirements are properly documented, tested, piloted and executed.
Job Responsibilities
Gathers and documents client requirements, helps identify desired results and provides an understanding of the oppor! tunity or problem.
Reviews high level test plans, Business and System requirements based on Quality Assurance Plans.
Gathers and documents functional requirements from business requirements, including page specs and use cases where needed.
Assists in writing training documents for users.
Provides basic end-user support in post-deployment phases, and supports the assessment and evaluation feedback process to ensure that the requirements necessary to correct issues are addressed.
Understands and identifies the correct resources to help define and validate both requirements and specifications.
Helps identify opportunities for improving efficiency of application portfolio and associated business processes.
Interfaces with vendor and WAG developers to answer routine application and requirements questions. Escalates the more complex questions, but follows up as to resolution.
Works with business owners and operations to review suggestions, system e! nhancements and production issues.
Qualifications
Basic Qu! alifications & Interests
Bachelor’s Degree and at least 1 year of experience as a licensed pharmacist.
Required licensure as a Registered Pharmacist as granted by the State.
Knowledge of WAG pharmacy operations applications and workflow.
Experience communicating both verbally (on the phone, one-on-one, to groups) and in writing (emails, letters, documenting client specifications) to all levels of employees and external clients.
Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions).
Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, ! selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets).
Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show).
Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
Knowledge of technical design processes and models.
Knowledge of processes to validate that the requirements have been met.
Experience documenting business or functional requirements.
Experience with SDLC / SW development processes (RUP, Agile, ! and Waterfall).
Experience with Requirements Specification and d! evelopment: Process/Functional Requirements definition methods, JAD/RAD sessions, Use case development, and Process flow diagrams.
Experience using consulting skills and developing client relationships.
Experience using analytical skills, tools and techniques to investigate information and to draw conclusions.
Experience in identifying operational issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
