We are a very reputable non-for profit hospital network in the greater Illinois ! area that delivers excellent care and service to our patients.
Due to restructuring within our operating model of our hospital network we are seeking a Health Systems Director to manage the pharmacy operations for two our hospitals in the area. In this role you will be accountable for maximizing the success & profitability within our health system while maximizing safety, regulatory and compliance risks. You be monitoring budgets to ensure profitability, explaining variances on a monthly basis, and participating in the budget process. This position will be responsible for overseeing 40 FTE’s which includes pharmacists and pharmacy technicians. You will be providing overall leadership direction and working with administration and other departments within the hospital to achieve the hospitals goals and objectives.
This position will report to the Regional Chief Medical Offer for our health care system

Required qualifications for this position are:
- B.S in Pharmacy or Pharm D, M.B.A degree is a plus
- 5 plus years of acute care hospital experience in hospital pharmacy management or related experience as a pharmacist. (Multi-site hospital operations experience is a plus)
- Illinois pharmacist license (active and in good standing with the board)
