Position Responsibilities:
The scope of practice of the Clinical Pharmacist, Operations includes oversig! ht of drug distribution (drug compounding/pre-packaging, IV, chemotherapy, and total parenteral nutrition admixture, unit dose and bar code packaging, dispensing carousel Pyxis restock and first dose dispensing), Epic and Dose Edge order verification, and coordination of medication deliveries. This individual will work both in the central pharmacy and clean room supervising and directing technicians to assure an efficient and effective workflow.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Pharmacy degree preferred or 3 years of health system pharmacy experience
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
Active participant in pharmacy professional or peer organizations.
Must be flexible with work schedule. This position will have rotating day and evening shifts Dependable attendance and job performance is imperative
Licensed or license-eligible in the State of Illinois
BLS/ ACLS certification
