Graduate of an approved school of pharmacy with at least a B.S. degree in Pharmacy Experience working with different ag! e groups Typing, computer expertise Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist License Must be able to supervise technicians Ability to communicate with physicians on clinical issues Must be willing to work rotating shifts any day of the week Must be willing to work with chemotherapeutic agents Must have knowledge of therapy differences for different age groups; neonate, children, adults, and the elderly
Job Description:
The Staff Pharmacist dispenses medications according to orders and prescriptions written by physicians and other health practitioners who are authorized by law to prescribe. The Staff Pharmacist also assures safe and effective drug therapy by consulting with physicians, monitoring drug therapy and participation in interdisciplinary management of the therapy of patients at Trinity Hospital Accountabilities: 1.
