Soliant Health is searching for a tenured Pharmacy Director/Manager with a strong inpatient background as well as outpatient experience. The System Director of Pharmacies ! provides leadership and direction to a network of system-wide pharmacies and pharmaceutical services serving inpatient and outpatient populations.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED!)
- Must be licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Illinois in good standing or eligible for license
- A Bachelor’s of Science degree in Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) supplemented by a Master’s degree in Business or Pharmacy Administration - OR - a Doctorate in Pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the AACP
- At least five (5) years of experience managing a multisite pharmacy operations
- At least ten (10) years of combined experience as a pharmacy manager with experience in both inpatient and outpatient pharmacy settings, preferred
- Additional certification and/or training in pharmacy automation or pharmacy technology ser! vices, preferred
- A Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD), prefe! rred
- Experience with formulary development: managed care pharmacy options and pharmacy benefits management expertise, especially with government payers
