Provide customer service to the Long Term Care facilities we serve by triaging requests/questions/medication orders accordin! g to priority. Research medication order issues and facilitate their resolution, assisting in questions regarding medication interactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Provide customer service to the long term care facilities, nurses, doctors and other personnel
·
Research questions, issues and incidents for Supervisor
·
Collect, prioritize sort faxes
·
Review orders for completeness and fax back orders to nursing homes that need more information
·
Initiate non-discretionary calls to facilities
·
Coordinate/manage “STAT" order process
- Check e-kit stock list
- Fax back to nursing home
- Prepare backup pharmacy orders
Provide clinical staff pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions
·
Consult with pharmacists regarding prescription order clarif! ication, STAT order entry problems or concern.

Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

Requirements:
High School Diploma
Certified Pharmacy Technician
Excellent Customer Service Skills
Shift:
2nd and 3rd shift available, weekend work required
