Our Center for Financial Services plays a critical role in ensuring that hospitals, pharmacies and retail chains receive pharmaceutical products quickly - usually within 24 hours. Our entire team works to ensure patients receive their medications efficiently and begin the process of healing.
We are cu! rrently in need of a candidate to fill the position of Operati! ons Trainee. This entry-level position is for a candidate that has the potential and leadership to take on a warehouse supervisor position anywhere within the US Pharma distribution network after the trainee program is successfully completed.
Responsible for the operational activities of a variety of functional departments within the distribution center. Duties include:
Review and analyze reports, records and directives, and confers with managers/supervisors to obtain data required for planning activities, such as new commitments, status of work in progress, and problems encountered.
May be responsible for one or more of the following activities related to the receiving, storing and/or shipping of materials or finished goods.
May be responsible for ensuring materials are received from proper vendors, delivered to inventory and finished goods, are available to meet production schedules, packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. !
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. May evaluate current procedures and practices for accomplishing department objectives and develop and implement improved procedures and practices.
Gives work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
Monitors and analyzes costs and prepares budgets.
2+ years operational experience or related completed internships and demonstrated leadership skills.
Ability to relocate after the completion of the trainee program.
Ability to work nights or days.
Demonstrated Leadership (ability to lead others)
Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
Flexibility
Working knowledge of Operations Management
Excellent organizational skills
Management skills
2-year degree or equivalent experience with the commitment to complete a 4-year degree in business or liberal arts.
