PRN Pharmacy Technician

Description: VNA Health Care is at present recruited PRN Pharmacy Technician right now, this vacancy will be assigned in Illinois. VNA Health Care is seeking a bi-lingual (English/Spanish) Pharmacy Technician to work part-time out of our Aurora, IL location. Must have strong people and computer skills, the ability to w! ork in a fast pace, and have the ability to multi-task under time sensitive situations. Under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician procures, prepares, packages, and distributes prescription drugs and pharmaceutical supplies. This position provides appropriate customer service support activities associated with the pharmacy.
Below is the tentative schedule which may change based on the needs of the pharmacy and clinic:
Monday â€" 10:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday â€" 10 a.m. -2 p.m.
Wednesday â€" off
Thursday â€" 4:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday â€" rotating schedule 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Saturday â€" rotating schedule 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Qualifications:
1. Licensed to practice in Illinois required.
2. A high school diploma or equivalent.
3. Certification (or eligibility) as a pharmacy technician by completion of an a! ccredited technician training program or current enrollment in! an accredited college of pharmacy. Individuals not meeting this requirement may be hired contingent on achieving certification within one year of technician application.
4. Computer literacy.
5. Bi-lingual in Spanish/English as follows: Reading - Required. Written â€" Required. Speaking â€" Required. This position verbally communicates in Spanish with many patients throughout the business day. Must be able to interpret and translate.

1. Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
2. Ability to sit and stand for long periods.
3. Ability to deal with high levels of stress.
4. Ability to drive a car.
