The Manager, Clinical Services is responsible for providing clinical expertise to the business and will have clinical knowledge for the entire! PharMEDium product (services/admixtures) portfolio. The person in this position is recognized internally as a leader proficient within the area of clinical specialty to offer guidance for product support and new product development.
Responsibilities:
Assist VP of Marketing in business assessment of new therapy platforms
Identify drug portfolio and drug configurations for commercialization
Determine concentration and container requirements for drug stability testing
Lead a multidisciplinary team in the pipeline development of new therapy platforms and new drug services for PharMEDium
Assist in product development of medical devices
Create and manage a drug library for an information technology platform
Assist Marketing team with market research
Conduct/facilitate focus groups
Preparation of market research proposals, surveys and questionnaires
Liaison to pharmacy database companies (First DataBank, ! Cerner Multum, etc,)
Assist Marketing Team in development ! of a marketing collateral
Clinical review of advertising and promotional materials
Medical communication
On-label and Off-label communication
Technical and Clinical letters
Provide clinical input on admixture packaging and labeling enhancements
Provide clinical support to sales force and customer service for product inquiries
Maintain PharMEDium’s Customer Suggestion Process
Recruit/Management of a Pharmacy Advisory Board
Plan agendas/topics for meetings
Preparation of meeting materials
Work with the legal department to manage contracts
Work with consultant to manage meeting logistics/facilitation
Solicit professional relationships with State Boards of Pharmacy, ASHP, JCAHO, and other key pharmacy organizations
The Manager, Clinical Services is a clinically skilled, licensed Pharmacist (Pharm.D. preferred) with a minimum of 5 years of clinical experience. Experience in parenteral admixture pr! eparation, pharmaceutical product development, product labeling, market research/focus groups, and customer interaction is desired. The individual must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation and teaching skills, be computer literate, and be willing to participate in a team approach. In addition, the individual must demonstrate exceptional follow-through with assigned tasks, and be self-motivated. Experience with medical device development is helpful.
