Position Overview
We are currently seeking a Clinical Specialist-Pharmacist for our Thrombosis and Anticoagulation Department located at Glenbrook Hospital and Evanston Hospital in Glenview, IL and Evanston, IL. This is a pa! rt-time, temporary position and is benefits eligible. Hours wi! ll be scheduled Monday-Friday on flexible shifts. This is a temporary position lasting at least one year.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Provide and document comprehensive pharmaceutical care to NorthShore patients with existing or potential thromboembolic disorders; to provide consultative services to other health care professionals on antithrombotic drug therapy and monitoring; and to research the impact of this service on patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate will have:
Current Illinois Registered Pharmacist
BS or PharmD (preferred) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy. Pharmacy practice residency or equivalent experience preferred, certification in anticoagulation training or equivalent experience preferred
At least three years experience as a clinical registered pharmacist. (excluding externships as a pharmacy student)
