Job Description Performs sales function internally. Relationships with primary call points which may include physicians, pharmacists, pharmacy buyers, materials management, office administrators, specialty pharmacies, and supporting HCPs are managed by telephone. Responsible for sales activities including maintaining current customers business with our treatments, managing product allocations, identifying MDs that can test and diagnose AATD, own 90% of the effort in starting patients on AATD treatment, and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory. This position is responsible for closing sales and achieving an individual or shared sales volume objective (quota) within a given territory. May refer leads to outside sales force under specific circumstances, or may work jointly with an outside Sales Representative on some accounts.
âCoordinate with sales management on development and implementation of our Pulmonary Business Plan
âAchieve call quota of 45 calls daily to effectively communicate product, disease awareness, key therapy messaging and contract updates to key customers and key prospects.
âDevelop and execute a strategy to enhance the market penetration of identified product lines, achieving sales objectives and financial targets.
âWork with assigned Territory Business Managers to jointly prospect and close business. This will account for 20% or less of the reps time.
âWork with assigned accounts to grow and maintain existing business. This will account for 80% or more of the reps time.
âProvide feedback to supervisor and marketing personnel for the development of marketing policy, recommended product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
âProvide feedback to the field RBD weekly on their progress towards goals in the region. Will communicate weekly with the TBMs on key accounts being worked in their territory.
âWill attend all Region conference calls and meetings throughout the year via phone or in person where applicable.
Job Requirements Must have excellent verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and as a team member is required. Consistent demonstration of high relative impact in previous sales roles. Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience within the medical industry preferred 3-5years sales experience required, inside or outside.
