One of our top clients is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to work out of their corporate office in Northern, IL for approximately 1 y ear. This individual will review prescriptions to assure accuracy and determine formulas and ingredients needed. He/she will compound medications using standard formulas and processes such as weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients, and will direct pharmacy workers engaged in mixing, packaging, and labeling pharmaceuticals. In addition, the pharmacist will answer questions and provide information to pharmacy customers on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage or pharmaceuticals, maintain established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances, and disposal of hazardous waste drugs, enter patient data, assay medications to determine identity, purity, and strength, and instruct Interns and other medical personnel on matters pertaining to pharmacy.
Candidates must be an Illinois Registered Pharmacist with an active license.
