Warehouse Operative
We are looking for a Warehouse Operative for our manufacturing facility at Northern Cross, Dublin. You will report to the Transport & Warehouse Manager and become involved in the day to day management of raw material receipt, storage and goods shipping.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Duties will be variable depending on the nature of the projects to be undertaken. These will mainly fall within the areas of warehouse material management.
- Ensure accurate receipt of product in Goods Inwards
- Ensure materials are suitably stored to ensure product from alteration, contamination, mix-up or damage during storage, handling, and distribution
- Ensure traceability of lots is maintained and FIFO rules are applied.
- Ensure all production workstations are adequately and timely supplied to maintain production schedules and output requirements.
- Comply and Follow all Work Instructions, Safety and Quality systems and procedures in their area
- Ensure warehouse is tidy and organised along with best practices
- Support and participate in the Packing, labelling and shipping of Finished Goods
What are we looking for?
- 2-4 years' experience in warehouse environment
- Experience desirable of driving a forklift (reach and counterbalance)
- Must have a valid Category B drivers' licence.
- Must have valid Manual handling certificate
- Team player and proactive mindset
- Accuracy and attention to detail at all times
- Desirable to have experience of ERP systems e.g., SAP
