Actavis is a global, integrated specialty pharmaceutical company focused on manufacturing and distributing generic, brand and biosimilar products.

We are recruiting for sales professionals in the Springfield, IL market in the therapeutic areas of Gastroenterology, Dermatology, Urology, Osteoporosis and Women’s Healthcare.

Our employees contribute to achieving national sales goals by driving territory product sales and effectively executing the marketing strategies and sales plan. Among other duties, sales professionals deliver sal! es presentations to health care professionals, pharmacists and! other customers as assigned.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Results oriented individual who strategically pursues business with energy and drive. Holds themselves accountable for achievement of assigned territory sales goals.
  • Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies and deliver effective sales presentations with passion and consistently ask for the business.
  • Exhibits an in-depth understanding of the health care marketplace and the sales processes that directly and indirectly affects sales goal attainment.
  • Able to identify, develop and maintain customer relationships as well as conduct programs to support the marketing strategies.
  • Demonstrates personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and a customer focus.
  • Understands how to prioritize efforts and resources based on knowledge of multiple promoted products, territory dynamics and the marketplace for effective coverage of key customers and networks! .
  • Manages territory resource allocation to maximize profitability.
  • Monitors performance against strategic objectives/directives.
Administration/Additional Information

  • Must be able to organize and prioritize - demonstrates good organization skills in daily tasks and physical environment.
  • Demonstrate an ability to learn and apply scientific information.
  • Computer literacy (i.e., Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is a must - iPad proficiency is preferred
  • Maintains compliance with all company policies.
  • Represent a positive and professional image of Actavis
Qualifications

Job Requirements

  • Two or more years of experience in pharmaceutical and/or biotech sales.
  • Ability to travel to meet territorial requirement, which may include overnight stays.
  • Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills, as well as strong planning and organizatio! n skills are required.
  • Four year college/university degree req! uired.
