Job Summary
Responsible for the development and deployment of clinical programs in support of Walgreens’ business goals and objectives. To build clinical and a quality processes and an enterprise-wide dashboard that ensure the Clinical Integrity of Walgreens Clinical Programs and Services.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the development and the deployment-ready clinical programs across a broad spectrum of business opportunities in support of the company’s vision.
Ensures that all clinical programs exceed the requir! ements of partnership agreements, provide for optimal patient care, and concurrently drive profitable returns for the company.
Builds and enhances clinical and quality processes within the Clinical Office ensuring the Clinical Integrity of Walgreens Clinical Programs and Services.
Partners with other elements of Pharmacy Health and Wellness to ensure optimal business partner participation, elimination of redundancy of effort, and optimal quality delivery.
Develops and enhances clinical programs that improve quality of care and reduce costs for customers/patients with common clinical conditions by leveraging Walgreens assets.
Collaborates with stakeholders and other business units to develop and maintain a "Corporate Quality Dashboard" for the enterprise.
Leads a team of professionals in the development and expansion of the vision and profitability of clinical programs.
Maintains currency of all clinical quality metrics and proactively takes appropria! te actions to maintain the company’s competitive posture in the marke! tplace.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications & Interests
BS in Pharmacy, PharmD or a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or at least 10 years of experience in building and managing Quality Improvement and/or Population Health programs in a payor, provider, or population health organization.
Required licensure as a Registered Pharmacist, Registered Nurse and/or Nurse Practitioner as granted by the appropriate state licensing authority.
At least 7 years of experience building clinical service models.
At least 5 years of experience supporting client facing responsibilities in B2B and/or B2C environments.
At least 5 years of experience planning, developing, and managing departmental expense and capital budgets.
At least 5 years of experience directly managing clinical teams, including hiring, developing, motivating, and directing people as they work.
Willing to travel up to 30% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).!
Preferred Qualifications & Interests
Experience working in a healthcare organization.
Experience working with health IT applications.
