You have a Pharm.D. and an MBA and are licensed as a pharmacist in the state of Illinios (or have the ability to gain this licensure). You have f! ive (5) or more years progressive leadership experience in pharmacy that includes leadership experience as a Director of Pharmacy in an acute care hospital. If the above describes you, we would very much like to get to know you. We seek candidates for the role of Regional Director of Pharmacy. In this role you will direct the overall operations of Pharmacy and Ambulatory / Apothecary of an 192-bed medical center in Urbana, IL and a 174-bed medical center in Danville, IL. You will oversee assignments of duties to unit personnel based on patients’ needs, staffing availability, occupancy trends and competency. You will provide the leadership ! and role modeling for the delivery of safe, effective and effi! cient services. You will regularly review and revise as necessary departmental standards and procedures. You will work with administration and other departments to achieve the hospital goals and objectives.
Candidates must have a B.S./Pharm.D. and be licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Illinois. Preference given to candidates who have an MBA, Masters in Healthcare Administration or other Masters level degree. Must have five (5) or more years progressive leadership experience in pharmacy administration that includes Directors level experience in the acute care setting. Must have strong financial/business acumen.
