Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Ph! armacy invites applications for a full-time, 12 month, non-tenure track faculty appointment who will also serve as Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) Coordinator in the School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Office of Experiential Education. Applicants must have a pharmacy degree (B.S. minimum) with a PharmD or other advanced degree preferred (e.g. M.S. Pharm, MBA, MPH). Applicants should have a minimum of two years practice experience with service as a preceptor desirable. Illinois pharmacist licensure or eligibility is required. Prior academic experience is not a requirement.
The successful candidates responsibilities will include but not be limited to: coordination of all IPPE courses including Service Learning; classroom preparation of students for IPPE courses; preceptor and practice site development; teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities commensurate with expertise and interest; serve on school committees.
