Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) School of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenure! track faculty appointment who will also serve as Introductory Pharmacy Practice Experience (IPPE) Coordinator in the School of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice, Office of Experiential Education. Applicants must have a pharmacy degree (B.S. minimum) with a PharmD or other advanced degree preferred (e.g. M.S.
Pharm, MBA, MPH). Applicants should have a minimum of two years practice experience with service as a preceptor desirable. Illinois pharmacist licensure or eligibility is required. Prior academic experience is not a requirement.The successful candidates responsibilities will include but not be limited to: coordination of all IPPE courses including Service Learning; classroom preparation of students for IPPE courses; preceptor and practice site development; teaching, scholarship and service responsibilities commensurate with expertise and interest; serve on school committees.SIUE is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
