The Business Analyst / Deal ! Development provides financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, reporting, pricing, compliance, consulting and problem solving support to their assigned sales management teams including analysis of sales financial activities, accounting, price modeling/profitability and application of regional sales financial controls.
Under the direction of the Sr. Business Analyst:
Provides front-line, on-going financial and accounting support to assigned sales teams in specific financial segments such as costing & pricing computations, regional sell profit calculations/analysis, customer compliance & profitability reconciliations, and budgeting/forecasting activities.
Performs month-end close activities related to sales and sell profit, including full root cause identification, resolution and reporting.
Provides financial and accounting support to assigned management teams in the preparation of financial statements and performance of balance sheet reconciliati! on.
Consults with assigned sales management teams in troubleshooting methods for resolving financial problems and in deriving more profitable and/or feasible long term financial solutions.
Contributes to building strong relationships with assigned sales teams as well as home office finance/accounting and Carrollton teams in order to optimize financial results, accurately manage budgets and accounting systems, and gain buy in and credibility for designated financial outcomes.
Change management advocate. Works with multiple Ad Hoc modeling tools in order to run the adequate analytics to support process changes and drive financial results.
5+ years accounting experience
Pricing and deal development experience
5+ years finance experience
Knowledge and experience of sales financial activities, inventory management, warehouse distribution, capital expenditures, financial and accounting systems (preferably drug distribution industry), gov! ernment regulations applicable to pharmaceutical industry (OSHA, DOT, F! DA, DEA, SOX, etc), financial systems/computer applications, SAP, etc.
Knowledge of accounting principles, drug inventory, working capital management.
Six Sigma methodologies with Green Belt training.
4-year degree required with an emphasis in finance and accounting, business, or operational management.
MBA with Finance emphasis a plus.
