PHARMACIST

Description: OSF Healthcare is at present recruited PHARMACIST right now, this position will be designated in Illinois. More details about this position opportunity kindly read the description below. Bachelors degree in pharmacy from a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education and is licensed or is eligible for licensure as a pharmacist in the State of Illinois. Analytical skills necessary to determine drug appropriateness, drug dosage and drug interactions. Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate and interact with physicians and various Medical Center personnel, and to direct and review the work of pharmacy technicians. Under general supervision, prepares and dispenses medication prescribed by a physician, according to Medical Center policies and state and federal regulations.
Reviews physician orders and consults regularly with medical and nursing staffs to assure high quality pharmaceutical services. Oversees and reviews the work of technical and clerical support personnel.
